About the Platform
Welcome to the unofficial RIT Attendance Tracker. Built by students, this tool provides a highly optimized and seamless method to monitor your academic progress. Avoid slow load times and retrieve the data you need instantly through our secure proxy infrastructure.
Tracking your college attendance is one of the most crucial aspects of university life. Many universities, including engineering institutes, enforce a strict minimum attendance requirement (usually 75%). Falling below this threshold can result in severe academic penalties, including being barred from sitting for final end-semester examinations. This portal was specifically engineered to help students stay on top of their attendance metrics in real-time without having to navigate clunky ERP systems or unreliable university domains.
By leveraging advanced proxy architecture and intelligent data caching, we significantly reduce the load on the official college servers while providing a lightning-fast experience for the end-user. Whether you are tracking a single module or looking at your overall academic standing for the semester, our comprehensive dashboard breaks down complex data into easy-to-read charts, actionable insights, and exportable reports.
Maintaining a high attendance percentage isn't just about meeting university requirements; it's about staying engaged with the coursework and maximizing your academic potential. Use our tracking tools to identify subjects where you might be falling behind and prioritize your time effectively.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often does my attendance update?
To keep our servers running fast and prevent the college portal from crashing, your attendance data is securely cached. This means your dashboard will automatically fetch new data from the college once every 12 hours. If you check multiple times within 12 hours, your data will load instantly from the cache, but it will show the same numbers until the next 12-hour cycle begins.
How should I read my attendance report cards?
When you fetch your attendance, you will see a detailed breakdown divided into cards:
Overall Attendance: This is your primary metric, showing your total combined attendance percentage across all enrolled subjects for the current semester.
Subject-Wise Cards: Each individual card represents a specific subject. It displays the exact number of lectures you have attended versus the total number of lectures conducted by the professor for that specific module.
How is my attendance percentage calculated?
Our system calculates your percentage using the exact same standard formula as the official RIT university guidelines. The formula is: (Total Lectures Attended ÷ Total Lectures Conducted) × 100.
For example, if a professor has conducted 40 lectures and you were present for 30 of them, your attendance for that subject is (30 ÷ 40) × 100 = 75%.
Are my academic credentials secure?
Yes. Your credentials are used exclusively as a pass-through to authenticate directly with the official RIT Node servers. We strictly do not store or log your passwords or session identifiers in our database.
Why might data retrieval take longer than usual?
We pull real-time data directly from the official infrastructure. If the official RIT portal is experiencing heavy load (such as during examination periods), our tool may reflect those upstream latency issues.
Is it possible to check records for other peers?
Yes, provided you have their explicit authorization, PRN, and Session ID. You can utilize the "Check Another" functionality on the results dashboard to initiate a new query sequence.
